More than twenty years in general practice
My veterinary journey began at the University of Bristol and has spanned over twenty years in general practice.
Then, always keen to seek a challenge, in 2020, I bypassed the route of practice ownership or management, and leapt into emergency work as a roving clinician for Vets Now. Those four years left a lasting imprint on how I practise and view our profession.
Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside brilliant colleagues—from dedicated nurses and world-class specialists to inspiring peers in every setting imaginable, from busy charity hospitals and multidisciplinary referral centres to small, family-run practices.
This podcast is the result of those experiences. It’s a place to share the lessons, conversations and that collective wisdom—hopefully offering a few down-to-earth insights and fresh perspectives that you can use in your own veterinary career.
